The Chinese Mansion is a pre-existing structure in the Chinese style, located at the edge of the Parco della Favorita and the boundaries of the Reserve of Monte Pellegrino. Restored by the will of Ferdinand of Bourbon, architect Marvuglia in 1799, has a basement and three floors. It houses a ballroom, a bathroom, one of the hearings, the bedrooms of kings and a dining room with the typical "ups and downs", invented by Maruglia for the transfer of food from the kitchen underneath. Two symmetrical staircases, before access to a semicircular porch decorated with six columns, and flanked by two towers with staircases provide access to the first floor.
